COMMON CAUSES OF FABRIC DAMAGE

All fabrics are at risk of piling, fading, foil loss and colour bleeding, especially under the arms, in areas where two colours meet or in areas that are frequently in contact with apparatuses.

Body creams, perfumes and deodorants can also harm fabrics, it is advised to cover the garment when applying these products.

We also recommend using a deodorant that DOES NOT contain Aluminium Chloral hydrate as this ingredient can exasperate the effects listed above

RISKS OF COLOUR BLEEDING

There is a higher chance of colour transference or bleeding on a leotard that  contains a light and dark colour combination.

To limit with risk of colour bleeding  of sensitive colour  compinatons, do not allow garment to soak, wash in large volumes ofwater and hanger dry ensuring the back and front of the leotard do not touch.

Colour bleeds may also occur if damp leotards are left in gym bags or when a dark pair of shorts is worn over a light coloured leotard.

Due to the unique nature of each athlete's wear/washing technique EMG is unable to guarantee that our fabrics won't bleed, even when properly washed.

SENSITIVE COLOUR COMBINATIONS

Any colour combination of light colour with a dark colour is considered a sensitive colour combination.

Sensitive colour combinations are prone to colour bleeds. Any fabric and colour combination may be ordered, but please use extreme discretion.

The following fabrics may be more prone to colour bleed, however colour bleeds are not limited to this list below:

- Navy Mystique
- Rich Red Velvet
- Pink Mystique
- Blackberry Mystique
- Black Mystique
- Red Mystique
- Merlot Mystique

EMG will not be liable for replacing your garment(s) if colour bleed happens if you decide to mix light and dark hues.
